Since the company was founded in 1994, Picasso Tile and Stonework has grown at a slow and steady pace. November marks our 20^th anniversary since incorporating! We started small with just five team members to nearly one hundred at market peak. Our team takes their time to do the best job possible. Recognized by the Marble institute of America for our high standards, we are proud to be the first accredited stone company in Arizona.

Responsible and Professional with Excellent Workmanship

Led by Michele M. Kalec, CTC, we have worked on cutting edge projects for private homes and world recognized resorts. Our commercial work is more in the high end with an emphasis on resorts and golf clubs. We worked on the Silverleaf Club House and the Montelucia Resort, for example. Private homes allow us to provide a very personalized service tailored to the homeowner’s personal taste and style. We love working in an atmosphere where the end user is a part of the process. The never ending choices they make always make for a one of a kind home to call their own.

Picasso Tile & Stonework operates in a responsible manner with one of the cleanest, well-run shops in the Valley. We focus on excellence in our work and safety in our process. Wet fabrication is our chosen process with all our water being recycled, cleaned and reused so that evaporation is the only water lost.

Floor to ceiling, functional or artistic, Picasso Tile & Stone does it all. Creating Your Own Masterpiece

We love the projects that create designs on the cutting edge. We've created 18 foot walls of onyx that are open to the outside and also show natural light through it, 4-way book matched walls with beautiful slabs with hidden doors, custom water jetted murals, carved sinks, columns and relief panels designed for a special need. We work closely with the architects, builders and designers to ensure their clients vision becomes their very own masterpiece they can live in. This process may start with an architect or builder looking for a particular color of stone. We provide samples for review from quarries from around the world. Once a selection is made, current bench samples may be brought in for the designer to put together a color pallet. The process is ever changing but our clients find comfort in knowing that we go the extra mile to help achieve their goal.

Tile has unlimited variation in color and finish. Stone and slab in nature itself. It opens up what could be an ordinary home into a statement of oneself. After 24 years in this business, we still get excited about the possibilities of these materials and their uses.
